SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Chengalpattu8SRM Institute of Science and Technollogy Aicte Mandatory Disclosure%uf0b7TotransferoraccepttransfersofanymovableorimmovablepropertyonbehalfoftheInstitute:%uf0b7Tomanageregulate,andadministertherevenue,theFinance,accounts,investments,properties,businessandallotheradministrativeaffairsoftheInstituteandforthatthepurposetoappointsuchagentoragentsasitmaydeemfit.6.AcademicCouncilTheAcademicCouncilshallbetheprincipalacademicbodyoftheInstituteandshall,subjecttotheprovisionsoftherules,havethecontroloverandberesponsibleforthemaintenanceofstandardsofteaching,researchandtraining,approvalofsyllabi,coordinationoftheresearchactivities,examinationsandtestswithintheinstituteandshallexercisesuchpowersandperformsuchotherdutiesandfunctionsasmaybeprescribedorconferreduponitbytheRulesoftheInstitution7.ResearchAdvisoryCommitteeThecommitteeadvisestheinstituteonmattersrelatedtoresearch,patentsandinnovationscarriedoutbythefaculty/students.Italsopreparesthebudgetforresearchandgetthesameapprovedbyfinancecommitteeandboardofmanagement8.PlanningandMonitoringBoardThePlanning&MonitoringBoardshallbetheprincipalPlanningBodyoftheInstituteandshallberesponsibleforthemonitoringofthedevelopmentprogrammesoftheInstitute.IthastherighttoadvisetheBoardofManagementtheAcademicCounciloranymatterwhichitconsidersnecessaryforthefulfillmentoftheobjectivesoftheInstitute.9.FinanceCommitteeToconsidertheannualaccountsandfinancialestimatesoftheInstituteandsubmitthemtotheBoardofManagementforapprovalandrecommendtheannualbudgetandrevisedestimatestotheBoardofManagement.10.GrievanceRedressalMechanismInternalComplaintsCommittee(ICC)INTERNALCOMMITTEE(IC)InreferencetoUGC,MinistryofHumanResourceDevelopment,GovernmentofIndia%u2019slettersofevennumberdated28.01.2015,SRMInstituteofScienceandTechnologyreconstitutedtheInternalComplaintCommittee(ICC).InitiallywhentheSexualHarassmentofWomenatWorkPlace(Prevention,ProhibitionandRedressal)Act,2013waspassedInternalCommitteewascalledICC(InternalComplaintsCommittee)buton9thMay2016,theamendmentwasmadeandICCwassubstitutedbyInternalCommittee(IC)whereveritexisted.CurrentlyInternalCommittee(IC)wasreconstitutedonMay19th2022withthefollowingmemberstodealwiththeissueofgenderbasedviolenceandtoconductgendersensitizationprogramme.
