Since quality enhancement is acontinuous process, the IQAC will become a part of an institution%u2019s system and work toward realizing the goalsof quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious,consistent and catalytic improvement in the performance of Institutions. The IQAC will make a significant andmeaningful contribution in the post-accreditation phase of Institutions. During the post-accreditation period, theIQAC will channelize the efforts and measures of an institution towards academic excellence.StrategiesIQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for%u2022 ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks;%u2022 maintaining and upgrading the relevance and quality of academic and research programs;%u2022 equitable and affordable access of academic programs to various sections of society;%u2022 optimizing and integrating modern methods of teaching and learning;%u2022 establishing the credibility of evaluation procedures;%u2022 ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and functioning of the support structure and services and%u2022 sharing research and networking with other Institutions in India and abroad.FunctionsSome of the functions expected of the IQAC are:%u2022 Development and application of quality benchmarks / parameters for various academic andadministrative activities of an Institution;%u2022 Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education;%u2022 Organizing of workshops and seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles;%u2022 Documentation of the various programs / activities leading to quality improvement;%u2022 Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for quality-related activities; and
