2026 | Sports Reap Mail | Volume 5 Number 2 39Every raid and every tackle reflected the passion and hard work of our players.Winning in Kabaddi demands a powerful blend of physical fitness, technical mastery, tactical awareness, and mental strength. A successful team must build explosive leg power, strong core stability, and high anaerobic endurance to sustain repeated high-intensity raids and tackles. Raiders should master techniques such as toe touch, hand touch, dubki, and kick while maintaining controlled breathing and sharp observation of defensive positions. At the same time, defenders must perfect ankle holds, thigh holds, and coordinated chain tackles, relying on timing and teamwork rather than just strength. Strategic intelligence plays a crucial role understanding opponent patterns, managing door-die raids wisely, and capitalizing on super tackle opportunities can shift the momentum of the match. Above all, mental composure under pressure, clear communication, and unity among teammates transform a good side into a championship-winning Kabaddi team.
