Seminar on GATE Examinations

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, SRMIST- Vadapalani Campus organized a
seminar on GATE Examinations called “GATEway to PSUs and Higher Education” on 9th
March 2022. This program has been organized to explain the importance of GATE examinations
and how one can use it to apply for various masters’ programs in different universities. The
resource person was Mr. Syed Mustafa Nadeem from TIME institute, who addressed the 2nd
and 3rd year Mechanical Engineering Students. He explained the importance of the exam and
how one can efficiently prepare for it in order to achieve maximum results. He also explained
about the various sectors in which this examination would be considered for recruitment and
about the different subjects one may choose to write the examination.
