Alumni Talksalks
“Skills needed for Industry” is the topic addressed by
Mr. Deepak Kumar (2016) - Senior Engineer(R&D),
Avtec Limited. The session was organized by the De-
partment of Automobile Engineering.
Ms. Sreeanta Chakraborty (2014-2018 batch) Alumnae of
Chemical Engineering working as Research Associate in
HASETRI - JK TYRE R&D, Mysore, Karnataka has visited our
Department on 13/09/2019. She shared her experience to
our young Chemical Engineering students on “Chemical Engi-
neers - Life outside campus”. Department has also arranged
an interactive session with our alumnae as part of the alumni
talk.
Ms. H. Gayathri, (2014-2018 batch) Alumnae, of Chem-
ical Engineering from Michelin India Tyres Pvt. Ltd.,
Chennai, has visited our department on 01/10/2019. She
delivered a talk on ”Role of Quality Assurance and Qual-
ity Control in Chemical and Allied Processing Industries”
and inspired our young graduating students of Chemical
Engineering
Mr. Karthikeyan Baskaran (2012) - Graduate research
assistant, University of Utah, USA guided the students
on the topic “Challenges in grad school and key to
choose the right research”. The session was organized
by the Department of Nanotechnology.
Mr. Ramkumar R (2016) - Software engineer, WYATT tech-
nology, California, USA, gave an inspiring insight on the
topic “Opportunities and challenges in MS”.
Mr. Madabhushi Bharadwaj (2012) - Senior Design Engi-
neer - AMD India Private Limited, Hyderabad inspired our
students with his experience in his industry and Ms. Pal-
lavi Kinnera (2015) - Physical Design CAD Engineer - Intel
Corporation, Hillsboro, Oregon, USA presented an interac-
tive students session through Skype.
