of Engineering, Salem attended the gathering on September
17, 2019 and shared her thoughts.
Mr. Devendran R (2016) - Senior Research Engineer, L& T
Construction Research and Testing Centre spoke on Material
testing & Mr. Piyush Barnwal (2016) - Sr. Planning Engineer,
L& T Constructions Power Transmission and Distribution
spoke on Power Transmission and Distribution.

Department of Genetics Engineering organized for a talk
on “Ornaments that reset the Ageing Clock” by Mr. Vignesh
K Krishnamoorthy (2013) – PhD , InStem, Bangalore.
“Genetic Counselling” by Ms. B. Suruthi Abirami (2013) -
Genetic Counsellor, Anderson Diagnostics.
Mr. Sujeet Kumar Singh (2010) - Director, Cytogene Re-
search & Development, Lucknow addressed our students
on the topic “Challenges Faced by Young Entrepreneurs”.

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering arranged for a talk on the topic “Research Opportunities
and Guidelines” by our alumnus Mr. Nivas Jayaseelan (2017) – Project Associate, Guires Solutions

Mr. Pranav Srinivas (2018) - Wireless Communication Engineer - Broadcom, Bangalore, gave a talk on his experi-
ence in “Placement opportunities and current industry requirements”

Mr. Sai Vineeth (2018) - Graduate Research Assistant – Carnegie Mellon University, California, addressed our
students on the topic “How to find a career in the new age of AI as an ECE student?”
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized for various alumni talks:
Mr. Saurav Sharan (2009) - Product head - Connected Cars, Affrica, Middle - East, India, Turkey - Nissan Motors,
addressed our students on the topic “Connected Cars - Digtial disruption and future of mobility”.

Mr. Pratheesh Lingadevaru (2012) - Co-founder - Institute of Digital Education and Development, SpectalHire,
AllAdwords, Architectica, OwlStead (Bengaluru) and Mr. Mohtashim Ehtasham (2012) - Founder, trainer - IODED,
Bengaluru, addressed our students and motivated them towards their aspiring career.

MBA department arranged for an Alumni Interaction Series and was addressed by Mr. C. Srijith Menon (2017)
- Senior associate, CHRYSALIS EZ VIDYA.

Mr. Alkausil Tamboli (2017) - Research scholar at Cambridge University gave a presentation on the topic of
“Product ideas n entrepreneurship opportunities in mems” organized by the Department of Mechatronics.

Department of Software Engineering conducted an alumni talk on “Dockerization of Node applications” ad-
dressed by our alumnus Mr. Rohit Mathew (2018) - Software Engineer, Turtlemint
