                                    STAFF WRITERThe fifth edition of ROM %u2013 The Physio Run 2025, organized by the SRM College of Physiotherapy, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), was flagged off from Arichal Munai, Dhanushkodi, carrying the theme Healthy Ageing. Spanning 640 km, the relay run promotes physical activity, preventive wellness, and community engagement.The flag-off ceremony was presided over by Mr. Simranjeet Singh Kahlon, IAS, District Collector, Ramanathapuram, along with Captain Arjun Menon (INS Parundu), Commandant Illavarasan, and senior SRMIST officials. Following the ceremonial torch lighting, the relay began its inspiring journey across Tamil Nadu. Local communities along the route warmly welcomed the runners and participated in brief fitness demonstrations, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and awareness.Over the next few days, ROM 2025 connected SRM campuses and communities across the state. The team reached SRM Madurai Campus on Day 2, where students and faculty participated in physiotherapy demonstrations, fitness routines, and wellness sessions that brought the theme of Healthy Ageing to life. On Day 3, the relay reached SRM Trichy Campus, continuing its message of endurance, movement, and preventive health through interactive sessions and mobility awareness activities.The relay culminated on October 10, 2025, at the SRM Kattankulathur Campus, after covering several key towns including Baburayanpettai. The concluding ceremony celebrated the spirit of unity, collaboration, and lifelong wellness.Reflecting on the journey, Prof. T. S. The grand event gathered eminent judges, senior advocates, corporate leaders, and scholars to explore the dynamic intersections of law, justice, and technology.The new School of Law building was inaugurated by Justice N.V. Ramana, Former Chief Justice of India, who stressed that credibility and trust in the judiciary are vital for maintaining law and order. The event was presided over by Dr. T.R. Paarivendhar, Founder and Chancellor of SRM Group of Institutions, who reminded that success stems from sincerity and dedication beyond classroom learning. Dr. P. Sathyanarayanan, Pro-Chancellor (Academics), emphasized shaping students into truth-seekers, while Prof. A. Vinay Kumar, Pro ViceChancellor (Law), urged future lawyers to combine legal acumen with technological awareness.Lexposium 2025 witnessed thoughtprovoking discussions on judicial reforms, constitutional morality, labour justice, the Uniform Civil Code, cyber law, and artificial intelligence. Justices U.U. Lalit and Deepak Gupta underscored the importance of policy-driven legal evolution and the responsible exercise of dissent. Justices Gita Mittal, Sanjay Karol, and Anita Sumanth spoke on access to justice and democracy%u2019s moral compass, while Justice Ajay Rastogi urged strengthening trial courts%u2014the foundation of India%u2019s justice system.Senior advocates including Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Dr. Pinky Anand, Nalin Kohli, and Dr. Pradeep Rai highlighted judicial efficiency, modernization, and people-centric justice. Corporate leaders such as Cyril Shroff and Swapna Sundar explored the rise of AI in legal practice, while cybersecurity experts Jayant Saran and Arunbalaji Alagappan emphasized responsible AI use, data protection, and the continuing need for human judgment in an increasingly digital legal landscape.Summarising the impact of the event, Dr. P.
