Held on 21st March 2025, the event provided an uplifting experience for all attendees, fostering a sense of well-being and positivity within the community.The program commenced with an insightful introduction by Dr. K. Sankara Moorthy, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Management, SRMIST-KTR. He shared valuable perspectives on navigating life%u2019s experiences, emphasising both successes and challenges in personal growth and the importance of maintaining joy throughout.A highlight of the day was an engaging session led by Dr. Nirmala Narayanan Anand, a distinguished Psychologist & Internationally Certified Laughter Therapist. Her demonstration of laughter yoga and the innate joy of infancy resonated deeply with the audience, underscoring the profound therapeutic benefits of simple laughter.The program continued with an insightful talk by Mr. Kirubakaran, a prominent figure in the EdTech industry. He shared his journey and illuminated the transformative potential of technology in shaping the future of education, offering a motivating and thought-provoking perspective.Attendees were also privileged to hear from Ms. Lakshmi Padmanabhan, a Transformational Coach & Healer, and an expert in Vedanta and Energy Healing. Her session explored the compelling intersection of spirituality and success, providing profound wisdom on leveraging spiritual principles to achieve personal and professional goals. Her healing program was exceptionally well-received, leaving participants with a greater sense of peace and mindfulness.The event concluded with Dr. K. On April 27, 2025, Elliot%u2019s Beach in Chennai hosted a thought-provoking %u2018Sand Art Campaign%u2019 that addressed the critical theme of ocean pollution.This public event invited people from all walks of life to witness the transformation of sand into striking artistic expressions that highlighted the urgent need to protect our oceans and freshwater ecosystems. The sculptures, crafted by students and faculty, narrated visual stories, emphasising the consequences of pollution and the importance of sustainable practices in safeguarding our environment.%u201cThis was more than just sand art; it was a powerful cry from the shore. Through sand, sea, and storytelling, we sculpted a movement. Each grain spoke of the damage done, and each form urged us to protect what remains,%u201d said the organisers from SRMIST%u2019s School of Architecture and Interior Design, Kattankulathur.Open to the public, the event aimed to inspire community participation and spark dialogue around the environmental impact of human actions. As marine life faced the devastating consequences of pollution, the campaign served as a call to action for reflection, responsibility, and change%u2014beginning with awareness.This campaign was not merely an artistic showcase; it was an invitation to pause, reflect, and engage. Marine life gasped for survival, suffocated by plastics, toxins, and negligence. Through this initiative, SRMIST hoped to spark meaningful conversations, instill a sense of collective responsibility, and inspire tangible action for a cleaner, healthier planet.
