STAFF WRITERThe III International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Mathematical Applications (CIMA 2025), organized by the Department of Computer Applications, Computer Science, and Mathematics & Statistics. This two-day conference, which commenced on 6th February 2025, a remarkable platform for intellectual discussions, knowledge exchange, and innovation in the theme of Computational Intelligence and Mathematical Applications. The Conference started with an inaugural session on February 6th in the Hippocrates auditorium. Dr. Raju Kanchibhotla, Honorary Secretary of the Computer Society of India, Chief Guest, accompanied by Pro Vice Chancellor Professor . A Vinay Kumar , , Deputy Dean Dr S.Albert Antony Raj , and IQAC Coordinator Dr Nedunchezhian. Dr. Raju Kanchibhotla captivated us with his keynote address, exploring %u2018Mathematics and Science in the World Around Us%u2019 and the evolution of AI across various domains. His insights laid a strong foundation for the thought-provoking discussions that followed. We were privileged to have distinguished speakers in online from around the globe, including Dr. Sultan Ali, Dean at CTB, Riyadh Elm University; Prof. Saravanan Venkataraman from CTB, Riyadh Elm University, KSA; Prof. Joan Lu from SCE, University of Huddersfield, UK; Professor SSN Perara from the Department of Mathematics, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka; and Mr. Ganesh Nagarajan, a specialist in Cloud Architecture from IRS, USA. Each keynote session brought unique perspectives, advancing our understanding of computational intelligence and mathematical applications. CIMA 2025 received an overwhelming response, with 170 abstracts submitted, 110 registrations, including 6 international papers and 15 national papers. The abstracts were compiled and released as part of the conference proceedings during the inaugural session.Sessions:The tracks for paper presentation were thoughtfully divided into two domains%u2014Mathematics and Computer Science%u2014across six tracks, with two tracks dedicated to online presentations and four to offline presentations. We also hosted a special technical session dedicated to student interaction, fostering dialogue and idea exchange among emerging scholars. The valedictory session has been held on 7.2.2025 and awarding with best papers for researchers, students, and faculty members in both domains. Dept. of Computer Applications organises the 3rd International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Mathematical Applications (CIMA 2025)IHFC, Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi to launch a Co-Innovation Centre (CiC) at SRMISTSTAFF WRITERIHFC collaborates with 10 leading institutions across India to launch transformative Co-Innovation Centres, in Deep Tech Domains like AI & ML, IoT and Robotics; promoting Translation led Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship among Indian Youth. The Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi (IHFC), set up under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NMICPS) under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, is embarking on a transformative journey by collaborating with ten prestigious institutes to establish CoInnovation Centres. This ambitious initiative aims to nurture the spirit of innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship among the youth of India. Among the premier institutes a Co-Innovation centre is launched and inaugurated at SRM IST on 6th March 2025. Furthermore, they aim to promote research and development of indigenous deep-tech products. This clearly aligns with the vision of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for a Viksit Bharat and Aatmanirbhar Bharat.Leaders Speak on the InitiativeProf. C. Muthamizhchelvan, Vice Chancellor, SRMIST expressed his pride in the initiative, saying create new ideas and methods and turn those into successful businesses. Identifying needs of a customer, solve problems, and bring new products and services to market. So, the technology translation happens at the Co-innovation Centre with young minds. Besides, VC thanked IHFC for their efforts, initiated by Government of India. Ashutosh Dutt Sharma, CEO of IHFC, at the Co-Innovation Centre inauguration: %u201cThese centres will significantly boost technology and entrepreneurship in deep tech domains in India, thus bridging the gap between idea generation and product development.%u201dFrom left Dr. M.
